What Are A5 Envelopes?

A5 envelopes (9x6 inch) are sized to carry A5 cards, invitations, greeting cards, and promotional inserts flat — no folding required. Widely used for wedding invitations, birthday cards, event mailers, and greeting cards, they are available with a gummed flap (traditional lick-and-seal) or a peel-and-seal strip for convenience. CMYK printing supports full-colour branding, patterns, or decorative designs across the full envelope surface.

How It's Made

Bond paper is printed in full CMYK, then cut and folded to A5 envelope dimensions. Gum or peel-and-seal adhesive strip is applied to the flap using food-grade materials. For luxury applications, 120 GSM or 150 GSM premium paper and lamination are available as upgrades. Finished envelopes are quality-checked and packed in bundles.

Can the envelope design match my invitation card design? Yes. We recommend designing the envelope to coordinate with your invitation card artwork. Submit both files together for colour consistency in a single production run.

Is peel-and-seal available for all quantities? Yes. Peel-and-seal is available from the 500-unit minimum. It adds a small cost per envelope compared to gummed flap.
