How to choose without a committee.
1. Fix the total, not the item
Decide the total spend you can get approved, divide by headcount, and only then look at products. Choosing the item first is what causes the second round of approvals.
2. Decide how many bands
One gift for everyone is simplest and avoids comparison. Two or three bands (staff / office / management) is normal and perfectly acceptable, as long as each band gets an identical item.
3. Confirm the real headcount
Add contract staff, housekeeping, security and anyone joining before Diwali, then add a small buffer. Re-running a small top-up batch later costs more per piece than ordering the buffer up front.
4. Lock branding in writing
Approve the mockup over WhatsApp or email so there is a record of the exact logo file, colour and placement you signed off. This is the single thing that protects you if anything looks wrong later.
5. Ask for the GST quote early
Get a GST quote as a PDF before you need it, so finance can raise the PO while production slots are still open. Catalogue prices are ex-GST — the invoice shows GST separately.
6. Pick a delivery model
Bulk to one office address is the cheapest and the most predictable. Individual home delivery works for hybrid teams but adds courier cost per address — get that number on the quote, not after.

What we will not promise
Same-day or next-day dispatch on branded bulk. Branding is a production process — 7–10 business days after mockup approval is the realistic window, and we would rather quote it honestly than miss it. Plain unbranded stock can move faster; ask if that is what you need.

Which method suits what.
A logo that looks cheap is usually the wrong method for the material, not the wrong budget. All six methods below run on our own machines in Bangalore.
Steel bottles, thermos flasks, metal pens
Burns the logo into the metal, so it never peels or fades through a dishwasher. Single colour only — it is the metal showing through, not ink. The most durable option we have, and the right default for drinkware.
Ceramic mugs
Full-colour, edge to edge. This is the one item where you can print a photo, a Diwali illustration or a multi-colour logo without compromise. Needs a sublimation-coated mug, which is why some mug SKUs cost more than others.
Leatherette diaries, card holders, gift-set boxes
UV print puts colour directly on the surface. Debossing presses the logo in without ink, which reads more premium and survives longer on a diary that lives in a bag. Ask for debossing on management-tier gifts.
T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags
Screen print is the cheaper option per piece at high quantities and is best for one- or two-colour logos. DTF handles full-colour and photographic artwork at any quantity. Note our heat press maxes out at A3, so oversized back prints are not possible.
Caps, polo shirts, jacket chests
Stitched, not printed, so it cannot crack or wash off. Fine detail and thin text do not survive embroidery well — simplify the logo and drop the tagline. We will tell you if your file is too detailed before we run it.
Bamboo, cork and wooden items
Engraving on bamboo and cork produces a dark burnt mark that looks deliberate and expensive on a low-cost item. It is the reason the ₹149 bamboo Entry set does not look like a ₹149 gift.
Two limits worth knowing before you design anything: our heat press handles up to A3, so full-width back prints on apparel are out, and our offset press is single-colour Riso — multi-colour flat printing goes through digital instead. We would rather say this now than after you have approved artwork.
What changes with the number.
MOQ is 10 and our largest real enquiries have run to 500. The right advice is genuinely different at each end.
Go higher per head
At this size the total is small even at a good per-head number, so spend it. A ₹749 bottle-pen-keychain set for 20 people is ₹14,980 — less than most single line items in a marketing budget. The one thing to watch is branding setup: it is a one-time charge, so on 15 pieces it is a noticeable share of the total. Ask for it up front.
The most common order size
The median quantity across our Aug–Sep 2026 enquiries was 100 units, so this is the size our production is built around. You have full catalogue choice, setup cost spreads thin, and a single bulk delivery to one office address keeps logistics simple. Two bands (staff and management) is worth doing at this size.
Lock the date before the product
At 300 pieces the production run itself takes real time, so the calendar matters more than the catalogue. Confirm early in October rather than mid-month. Distribution also becomes a job in itself — decide now whether you are handing out by department or delivering individually, because it changes the packing.

What is a reasonable Diwali gift budget per employee in 2026?
Most corporate Diwali orders land between ₹300 and ₹1,000 per employee. Below ₹300 you are looking at a pen-and-keychain boxed set (our Entry sets start at ₹149). Around ₹500 you get a leatherette combo or a branded steel bottle. At ₹1,000 you get a 4-piece boxed set. Above ₹2,000 is normally reserved for senior management rather than the whole company.
What is the minimum order for Diwali employee gifts?
Ten pieces. Every product in our corporate catalogue has an MOQ of 10, so a 12-person startup and a 500-person company can both order. Real enquiries we received in Aug–Sep 2026 had a median quantity of 100 units.
When is the last date to order Diwali gifts for 2026?
Order by 25 October 2026. Diwali falls around 8 November 2026 and branded bulk orders take 7–10 business days to produce and ship after you approve the mockup. Orders confirmed after 25 October cannot be guaranteed to land before Diwali.
Do you give a GST invoice for employee Diwali gifts?
Yes — a GST invoice on every order, issued in your company name with your GSTIN on it. Catalogue prices are ex-GST, so GST is added on the invoice rather than hidden in the quoted rate.
Can you print our company logo on every gift?
Yes, and it is done in-house in Bangalore. Branding method depends on the item: laser engraving on steel bottles and metal pens, UV print on ceramic and leatherette, DTF or screen print on apparel, embroidery on caps. We send a mockup for written approval before production.
Can we gift different items to different employee levels?
Yes, and it is the most common structure. A typical split is one Entry set (₹149–259) for the general staff band, a Mid or Value set (₹329–709) for the office team, and a 6-piece Premium set (₹1,849–2,249) for senior management. Each band still needs to hit MOQ 10.
Do you deliver to employees working from home?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet of names, addresses and phone numbers and we ship individually, pan-India. Individual shipping adds courier cost per address — confirm the total on your quote before approving. For a single-office drop, bulk delivery to one address is cheaper.
Can I see a physical sample before committing to the full quantity?
Ask for it on your quote and we will tell you what is possible for your chosen item. A digital mockup — your logo placed on the actual product image — is standard and comes before every production run. A physical branded sample is a separate short production run, so it has its own cost and adds days to the timeline. If you want one, raise it in early October, not the week of the deadline. Can you issue a proforma invoice so I can get internal approval first?
Yes. Tell us you need a proforma and we will issue one in your company name with your GSTIN, the line items, quantities and GST shown separately — the document most procurement teams need to raise a PO or release payment. It does not commit you to the order; production is scheduled off your mockup approval, not the proforma.
Can I increase the quantity after placing the order?
Usually yes if you tell us early, and it depends on stock and where your job is in the production queue. A top-up requested before production starts is straightforward. Once branding has run, additional pieces become a second production run — which costs more per piece and may not make the Diwali date. This is why we recommend ordering a small buffer above your headcount up front.
Are Diwali gifts to employees taxable for the company?
