What Are Transparent Visiting Cards?
Transparent visiting cards are printed on a clear PVC plastic substrate — a rigid, fully see-through sheet that lets the background show through the card wherever ink is absent. The result is a card that looks unlike any paper alternative: modern, minimal, and visually striking. The transparency itself becomes a design element — letting your brand float against whatever surface the card rests on. They suit technology brands, design studios, luxury lifestyle businesses, and any professional who wants a card that is genuinely remembered.

How It's Printed
UV digital printing is used to apply ink directly onto the clear PVC sheet. UV-cured inks bond to the plastic surface and produce vivid, scratch-resistant colour. Areas without ink remain completely transparent — which is where the design opportunity lies. Effective transparent card designs use the clear substrate intentionally: bold type or logo elements that float on the card, with negative space left clear to let the background show through.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order? 300 cards is the minimum for Transparent Visiting Cards.
Are these cards durable? Yes. The PVC substrate is rigid, waterproof, and will not tear, crease, or degrade from normal handling. They are significantly more durable than any paper card.
Can I print white ink on transparent cards? Yes. White ink is printed as an opaque layer on the PVC and allows elements to appear solid against the clear background. Contact us before ordering if your design requires white ink — this must be set up correctly in the artwork.
Is double-sided printing available? This product is offered with single-sided printing only. Your design is printed on the front of the card.
How long does delivery take? 2–3 business days from Bangalore after proof approval, with courier service to all major Indian cities.
Also available: Spot UV Business Cards for selective gloss effects on standard stock, or Gold Metallic Business Cards for premium metallic finish.
