How We Print
Printigly UV-prints directly onto foam board using our flatbed UV printers, which cure ink instantly on contact with the surface. This eliminates the vinyl application process, removing any risk of bubbling or edge peeling. The UV-cured print is inherently scratch-resistant and can be further enhanced with protective laminate for high-traffic or handling-intensive applications. All boards are cut on a precision saw or plotter for clean, square edges with no chipping.
FAQs
Are foam boards from Printigly suitable for outdoor use?
Standard foam boards are designed for indoor use. Prolonged outdoor exposure causes the foam core to warp and the surface to delaminate. For outdoor display needs, we recommend our sunboard or ACP sign boards which are weatherproof and UV-stable.
Can foam boards be hung on a wall?
Yes. We can pre-drill hanging holes or attach self-adhesive velcro strips to the back for easy wall mounting. Command strips work well for lighter A3/A4 boards. For large A0 boards, we recommend wire hanging kits which we can supply on request.
What is the maximum print size available on foam board at Printigly?
Our UV flatbed printer can print up to A0 (84x119cm) as a single piece. For displays larger than A0, we print on multiple boards designed to interlock or butt-joint seamlessly on a wall or frame structure.
