What Are Transparent Labels?
Transparent labels are printed on clear BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) film. Because the substrate is see-through, the printed design appears to float directly on the product surface — a technique commonly called the "no-label look." They are waterproof, resistant to oils and moisture, and suitable for glass, plastic, and metal surfaces. CMYK printing delivers rich, accurate colour against the clear base.

How It's Made
White ink is sometimes printed as a base layer beneath the design to ensure colours appear true on the transparent film. The label is then CMYK printed, laminated, and die-cut. Adhesive liner is applied on a roll or sheet format. Each batch undergoes adhesion and print quality checks before dispatch.
FAQ
Will colours look the same as on white labels? Without a white ink base, colours appear translucent. We recommend adding a white underprint for solid, opaque colour areas. Our team advises on this during artwork review.
Are these labels suitable for refrigerated products? Yes. Clear BOPP with permanent adhesive performs well in refrigerated and humid conditions without peeling or bubbling.
