What Are ACP Boards?
ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) boards from Printigly, Bangalore â Est. 1984 â are UV flatbed-printed 3 mm or 4 mm aluminium composite panels used as the industry-standard substrate for durable outdoor signage, shop fascias, building directory boards, and high-quality directional sign systems.
Specifications & Materials
Panel: 3 mm ACP (0.18 mm aluminium skins, polyethylene core) or 4 mm fire-rated ACP (mineral core). Surface: PVDF-coated white, brushed silver, or custom RAL colour. Print: UV flatbed at 1440 dpi with white ink base layer for metallic-substrate colour accuracy. Sizes up to 1220x2440 mm (standard sheet). CNC routing for shaped cuts and letter routing. Mounting: pre-drilled studs, aluminium channel frames, or direct wall adhesive.
Who Needs ACP Boards?
Commercial buildings, corporate campuses, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, and retail chains across Bangalore use ACP boards for outdoor shop signs, building directory boards, floor-level identification, safety signs, directional wayfinding systems, and cladding with integrated graphic panels. ACP is the premium choice where corflute lacks rigidity and aluminium sheet lacks size availability.
Pricing & Quantities

Standard shop fascia (3 m x 1 m): from â¹12,000 with standoff mounts. Building directory board (1 m x 2 m) with routed graphics: from â¹18,000. Minimum order: 1 sq m. Production: 2â3 business days.
How We Print
ACP panels are loaded onto our large-format UV flatbed printer (bed size: 1.5 m x 3 m). A white ink base layer is printed first for full-colour accuracy on metallic surfaces, followed by CMYK colour and a UV-clear gloss or matte top coat. For routed signs, CNC router cuts letter shapes to exact DXF files. Drilled holes and standoff hardware are fitted before dispatch. Panels are edge-banded to prevent delamination at cut edges.
FAQs
How long do UV-printed ACP boards last outdoors?
UV flatbed-printed ACP boards last 4â6 years outdoors in Bangalore conditions before significant UV fading. With UV-clear overcoat, lifespan extends to 7â9 years. The ACP substrate itself (PVDF-coated) lasts 20+ years â only the printed graphic degrades. We offer graphic re-application on existing ACP frames.
What is the difference between 3 mm and 4 mm ACP?
3 mm ACP is standard for indoor and protected outdoor signage (canopy-covered). 4 mm ACP with mineral (fire-retardant) core is required for building cladding applications and large-format outdoor signs without support frames. 4 mm panels are also stiffer, reducing bow on wide spans without intermediate fixing points.
Can you route letters and logos into ACP for 3D signage?
Yes. Our CNC router cuts aluminium composite to any 2D shape including individual letter cut-outs for 3D signage applications. Routed edges can be folded back for depth or mounted on standoff studs for shadow-gap effects. Vector DXF or AI artwork required for routing.
