What Are Tension Fabric Displays?
Tension fabric displays from Printigly, Bangalore â Est. 1984 â use dye-sublimation printed stretch fabric with silicone bead edges (SEG) tensioned into aluminium extrusion frames to create seamless, wrinkle-free graphic walls for high-end exhibitions, retail environments, and corporate lobbies.

Who Needs Tension Fabric Displays?
Premium brands, luxury retailers, technology companies, and government pavilions at major trade shows use tension fabric displays as the premium alternative to vinyl flex because the seamless finish eliminates panel joints visible in modular systems. Architecture, pharmaceutical, and automotive clients find them particularly suited to their brand standards for clean, premium presentation.

How We Print
Fabric is printed via dye-sublimation at 1440 dpi on premium stretch polyester. Silicone bead is sewn onto all four edges by our specialist finishing team. The bead is pushed into the aluminium frame groove using a roller tool â no adhesive, no staples. Frame segments connect via internal locking pins. The result is a drum-taut, completely seamless graphic wall.
FAQs
What is the difference between tension fabric displays and pop-up displays?
Pop-up displays use a collapsible spring-loaded frame (faster to set up, less stable). Tension fabric uses rigid bolted aluminium extrusions (takes 20â30 minutes to assemble, but gives a superior flat, seamless graphic surface preferred for premium brand environments). Tension fabric systems are more durable and last 7â10 years.
Can tension fabric displays be used outdoors?
Indoor use is recommended. For covered outdoor use (awnings, pavilions), we supply UV-treated stretch fabric rated for 6â12 months of indirect outdoor exposure. Direct rain and wind are not suitable for standard fabric systems.
How do I clean tension fabric displays between events?
Remove the fabric from the frame and machine wash at 30°C (polyester is wash-safe). Dry flat or hang to avoid shrinkage. Dye-sublimation prints are fully wash-safe. The aluminium frame can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents on the anodised frame surface.
